About
I am an art director, motion designer, and photographer with over two decades of experience creating visually compelling content for organizations of every scale. After earning my BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I began my career producing design, photography, and video for leading cultural institutions such as The Joffrey Ballet, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, and Chicago Opera Theater. These early years shaped my creative eye and taught me how to craft stories that resonate with audiences through movement, rhythm, and visual balance.
In 2011, I joined President Obama’s re-election campaign as a motion designer, where I created animated videos that helped explain complex policy issues in clear, engaging ways. Since then, I’ve built a freelance practice collaborating with clients including Meta, Instagram, eBay, Wikipedia, Warner Brothers Media, Swarthmore College, and the Obama Foundation. Whether developing 2D and 3D animations, designing for social media, or producing photography and live-performance visuals, I thrive in fast-paced environments and deliver content that captures attention and inspires action.
My background in dance and performance art continues to influence the way I approach design—always seeking movement, balance, and a sense of flow that makes content feel alive. I find it endlessly rewarding to spark imagination through something as simple as a graphic, a sound effect, or the rhythm of a cut. That sense of creative energy keeps me excited about collaboration, and I bring that enthusiasm into every project, working with teams and clients to transform ideas into powerful, memorable experiences.
